Welcome to Bangor Pride
Central Maine's largest annual Pride celebration occurs in the heart of Bangor during the fourth weekend of June each year. Bangor Pride held its first celebration on June 20, 1992 and has since been fueled by the passion and dedication of the local LGBTQ+ community.
Bangor Pride allows for the possibility of bringing more connection and support to the LGBTQ+ community in Bangor and the surrounding areas.
Bangor Pride acknowledges that Bangor is within Penobscot territory in the heart of Wabanaki territory/Maine.
Bangor Pride 2024 is presented by Health Equity Alliance (HEAL) HEAL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Bangor, Maine. HEAL's roots in the LGBTQ+ community date back to its establishment as the Downeast AIDS Network in 1987.
